Get ready to take your taste buds on a cross-country adventure this winter break! In our US Roadtrip Cooking Camp, kids ages 8-14 will explore the flavors of four iconic American regions—each day packed with fun cooking projects, new skills, and delicious dishes to enjoy. From BBQ to New Orleans gumbo, we’ll be traveling the U.S. through food, one unforgettable meal at a time! Here’s the mouthwatering itinerary:
- BBQ Day: Kick off the journey with a classic BBQ feast—tender BBQ chicken sandwiches, creamy slaw, and a patriotic red, white, and blue trifle.
- Tex-Mex Fiesta: Spice things up with zesty chicken enchiladas, fluffy rice, savory beans, and a rich Mexican chocolate cake for dessert.
- Hawaii: Transport yourself to the islands with shrimp poke, buttery mochi, shoyu chicken, and a creamy mac salad.
- New Orleans: End the trip with a taste of the Big Easy! Cook up flavorful chicken gumbo and the famous bananas foster for a sweet and flamed-up finale.
Each day, campers will not only learn to cook delicious regional dishes but also get a taste of the culture and history behind each meal. Ready to hit the road (in the kitchen)? Pack your aprons, because this is one culinary adventure you won’t want to miss!
